Privacy policy

This page explains what Stypp Expense (a Stypp product, stypp.in) stores when you try the demo at this address, why, and for how long.

What we store

• Your details from the form: full name, phone number, company name and email, the time you agreed to this policy and which version it was.
• How you found us: the ref and utm_* labels of the link you opened (for example “linkedin”), and the text your browser sends to say which browser and device it is.
• How you used the demo: which screens you opened, how far you got in the tour, how many entries you added, whether you tapped “Want this for yourself?”, and any rating or feedback you send. We never record the amounts, notes or names you type into the demo.
• A scrambled form of your IP address (a one-way hash, never the address itself), to limit how many demos can be started from one network and to spot abuse.

Why

To open your demo, to contact you about Stypp Expense (you agreed to this in the form), to understand which parts of the app people find useful, and to stop abuse.

How long we keep it

• Your demo account and everything in it (the sample data and anything you add) is erased automatically 24 hours after you start it. “Start fresh” erases it earlier.
• Your details and the usage summary above are kept until you ask us to delete them.

Who else handles it

We do not sell or share your details. They are processed only by the services that run this site for us:

• Vercel (hosting, Mumbai region) and Supabase (database).
• Telegram, to send us a private notification with your name, phone, company and email when you start a demo.
• An email service, if we turn on email notifications.

On this device

Your browser remembers what you typed in the form so it is not lost and fills in next time. A cookie keeps your demo signed in for its 24 hours. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete your details at any time on the Delete my data page. To ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or anything else about your data, write to privacy@stypp.in.

Changes

If we change this policy, the version above changes. The version you agreed to is stored with your details.
